A lifelong fashion aficionado and lover of contemporary art, Mirjam has degrees in Fashion Design and E-Commerce. As a former fashion fabric stop owner and working clothing designer, Mirjam has taught classes in fashion for over 15 years. The focus during her classes is to encourage aspiring fashion enthusiasts to tap into their creativity and be that designer they've always wanted to be.

In addition to teaching on-line classes, Mirjam teaches summer workshops at the Aspen Art Museum and offers workshops throughout the year in her studio.
